Streets of New York, Phoenix

This is a typical Streets of New York restaurant. It's comfortable, fairly priced and good for when you can't decide where to go. The pizza is mediocre and nothing like real New York pizza. The dough is too thick and the toppings are not memorable. However, it's still better than that served by comparable restaurants. Though they brag about their pasta, it's also nothing special. Their meatball hero/sub is tasty but the meatballs are way over breaded. What is really special is their chicken parmagiana sub. I repeatedly come back because Streets of New York makes the best chicken parm in the valley. If they could only make everything else that good, they're own the town.

We bought pizza for take out at 7.00 pm 10.08.2006 in 8. Pima & Frank Lloyd Wright Target Center,Scottsdale, AZ. Manager told me pizza will be ready in 25-30 min we came back in 15, pizza was ready, when I bring it home and open I saw pizza was at last 2 hours old, Thank you for your pizza. Send email to next day, nothing I guess they don't read emails.
