EXCELLENT Pasta and the wait is worth it. Brick Oven serves great homemade root beer.

Enjoyable

My family loves to eat when visiting Provo not because any ancestors ate there but because of the great pizza and the all you can eat for a very reasonable price. Very kid friendly as well.

OK food, but HORRIBLE service. Be prepared to wait too long for your food, get no drink refills and be ignored by your server. Don't call for a reservation because Michelle (the girl who answered my call for a reservation) is VERY rude and has no customer service skills.

Lets stop pretending...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/23/08
I am sorry to be the one to do this but lets stop pretending that this place is so good just because our brothers, sister, parents, grandparents, etc, etc all ate there while going to BYU back in the day. The fact is, its not that good, you have to wait ten years and the servers are all bitter about the place. If you want to eat at the same place as your grandma because it makes you happy then its worth it. Beyond that, give me a break, the pizza passes ok but the pasta is a joke.

Fun environment. Family friendly. Good pizza & buffet. Wide selection of pizza, lots of variety. Try the many different flavors of lemonade & order the cheesebread.

Great Pizza, if you have the time & patience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/08
Brick Oven tends to be the designated family get-together restaurant. Therefore it is ALWAYS busy, & quite loud. But the food is wonderful if you don't mind waiting for hours & listening to kids scream!

Good experience/bad experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/08
I love the food here. The pasta and salad buffet is always fresh and delicious. The wait is always long, it being a very popular place. The waitress made one large mistake, I asked her to check on the ingredients in the dessert and tell me if there were tree nuts- I'm very allergic. She came back and told me there were no nuts. Well, 10 minutes later my tongue is swelling. She then came back and said that there indeed were nuts in the dessert. I had to go home and down a lot of benedryl -we didn't even get a free meal or discount.

I visited Brick Oven while I was with family from out of town. They loved it and so did I! Free Rootbeer Mondays were an unexpected treat, along with the great service we received. It is nice to know that service is still valued. If you want great food and great service, go to Brick Oven and ask to be sat in Janel's section.

Messed up orders!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/12/07
I am thoroughly ticked off at Brick Oven in Provo. Their catering department completely messed up an order for a large business function we had today. It was horribly embarrassing in front of our clients who we had promised lunch to. Normally, I'm pretty forgiving on little mess ups.. I mean, we're all human. But this was horrendous. They gave us extra of things we didn't order, and left out things we did. We were overcharged, and they were 40 minutes late. When called on it, neither the driver nor the catering manager were apologetic. They had received this order several days in advance, in writing. We will write them a letter, being kind but stating the facts. But it doesn't sound like they're going to do much to try and remedy the situation. Not that they can.... damage is done. Honestly, I feel better now just getting this out. :)
