Tepanyaki Japanese Steakhouse, Provo

Yeah, the chef comes to your table and cooks right in front of you. How cool is that? He makes jokes and does some tricks with food. He even flipped us each a piece of shrimp so we could catch it in our mouths! Great place for a large group! I want to go there again and again!

The service was great! The chef/performer was very polite and funny! He was very understanding with a baby at our table! The food was wonderful, and he gave generous portions! All the employees very nice. However it is a little expensive. And there was not much food choices on the menu, which was dissapointing as there was especially not much vegetarian foods! good restaurant for special occasions if you have a big stomach as it can get pricey!

The food at Tepanyaki's is very good, cooked to order right in front of you. The chefs are very skilled in the artwork of hibachi entertainment. They do a lot of tricks with eggs, onions and the shrimp. If you don't want to catch the shrimp in your mouth, most of the chefs respect that, although, one time I had one chef who didn't care and threw it anyway. I haven't had problems since then. This is one of my favorite places to eat. They are on the more expensive side, but I think it's worth it. The dressing on the salad is to die for!

The food is wonderful! It's a great place for entertainment as they cook in front of you. Some of the chefs are better than others, but it's a fun experience. They even cater to food allergies. One of my friends is highly allergic to mushrooms, so they didn't have the mushrooms for our table like they normally do. It is slightly expensive, but great for every now and then. They do add the tip in if you have a large party.

Overall this place is the best. A little pricey, but the good food makes up for it. The menu could be a little larger. Leftovers usually warm up great. The service is prompt, and the best part is that dinner is part of the show. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

The food is wonderful, service is prompt and the employees are very nice. However it is a little expensive. It depends on what you want. Price range from 10-25. I order the steak & shrimp for 17, I think. But it's worth it on special occasions!
