I m not sure if the Bryce Canyon Resort is under new management or if they finally got their stuff together, but the hotel we stayed at last week is nothing like what the other reviewers said (years ago). We stayed in a cabin for 1 night and all 4 of us were very happy. The cabin was really big, with 2 king size beds, a table with 2 chairs, a fridge, 37-40 LCD TV, microwave, a built in 2 burner stove, coffee maker, sink, and cabinets with plates, cups, pots, pans, dish washing soap and sponges. The bathroom was small but normal by hotel bathrooms standards . The only issue we had was that the shower/tub drained slow. However, the pressure and heat from the shower head was amazing after a long day. The shower head felt like it was exfoliating your skin and massaging you at the same time (amazing!!!). Our room was $120 after everything and I am already planning on going back.

Windows, a lot of t hem, 6 in our room had venetian blinds which let in light til dark and car headlights during the night. Can't check out and get a receipt until 7:30 in am and there were 3 or 4 people waiting. Overpriced for desk service and lack of drapes. Otherwise reasonable for the area

Not a Resort & a waste of money
By ,
There is nothing that resembles a resort. We, unfortunately, used a booking agency (non-refundable fee) that stated this was the next best place to the lodge in the park. No trees, no porches, no historic cabin and on a cleanliness scale, they get a 0. the carpets didn't look or feel clean. Dirty entry and bathroom doors. Unfortunately, we were stuck with penalty fees, so suffered thru the $155/night fees. If you can book the Loadge in the park, do it! Cost more, but better ammenities. The Best Western is even better. The Park is great........your stay should be too!

This place is a DUMP!!!!! We stayed in the campground. We were surrounded by old broke down trailers. They house their employees in these trailers. They were very nasty. I feel sorry for the workers. The old fat man behind the desk was very rude. He was too fat and lazy to get up and get us ice the day we checked. Do not stay here.

Not clean enough
By ,
I checked out several places and went with this one because we wanted the privacy of a cabin and it was very close to the Park entrance. Once we arrived we were dissappointed that it would barely pass the cleanliness test. We also had an instance where the maid came in when we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. The management claimed the wind could have blown it off but it was not windy that day. It was very expense for what we got and I would not go back.

Never again!

I thought I had done my homework reading reviews befor our trip. I don't know how I missed this site! After reading them, all I can say is ditto!! The rooms are sooo minimal for the price. The saving grace is the location. The best part of our stay was the ATV rental located at the motel. We took a 3 hr. guided tour thru Red Canyon. It was well worth it. Try to book any other hotel well in advance.
