Thai Ruby Restaurant, Provo

I can't believe this restaurant is so highly rated. While the service is good and the staff is friendly, the food is, at best, mediocre. It really had no taste and was, I thought, overpriced. A veggie stir-fry was $10.95 and had no flavor whatsoever. It is a popular place but I guess folks in Provo don't know that Thai food should have some taste to it. I won't go there again and don't recommend it to anybody who is used to REAL Thai food.

I make it a point to go to it when I'm in Provo as I now live out of state. Best Thai food I've had! LOVE the House Curry. Their Tom Ka Gai is wonderful as well. I wish I had to go to Provo more often just to eat! Great service, and the waiters do know what is good as most of them have lived in Thailand. Parking is not great but if you go at lunch it's not bad. Prices are fair and I thought the portions were average. I did not leave hungry and we split 3 dishes among 4 people. Enjoy!

It was as if telepathic djinnis appeared to do our every bidding. We tipped our menus down and whooosh! Someone was there to take our order. The food was presented colorfully, like an edible painting. From the door opening to the final *ching* of the register we were completely taken care of.

A bit pricier than Bangkok Grill in Orem, but very, very good. It's also got a very nice atmosphere and friendly servers. Situated just below BYU, but you can get Thai ice-tea.

i am a big thai food buff, and this one is among the top i have eaten.

I was quite impressed by the quality and flavor of the food, but the portions simply didn't align well with the prices we paid. We paid around $8 per person and went home hungry.

Thai Rubies restaurant has a variety of excellent Thai cuisine. Just ask the waiters and or servers to suggest an entree. That's what I did and I was never the same after that. Thai food became my favorite food after eating at this magnificent restaurant. It has an intimate setting that's perfect for a quiet, romantic or casual dining experience. Prices are just right. My overall rating for this place is five stars and several thumbs up!!! Hope you enjoy!

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Utah Valley. Excellent tasting food. Ambiance is good, but for great tasting food, who cares about ambiance. Parking stinks.

Who would have thought that a sleepy town like Provo would have so many great places to eat. And so much international variety. I found the Green Curry to be most enjoyable.

This Thai restaurant is so good and reasonably priced. The decor is not quite as chintzy as other Asian restaurants. I love the Tom Ga Kai, which is a coconut milk-based soup with chicken, baby corn, mushrooms, cilantro, lemongrass, and a bunch of spices that will clear up any cold. Their curries are all wonderful, and make sure to get the mango sticky rice for dessert.
