Salt Lake Coffee Break

Description

Coffee is in the name, but a delightful surprise for the palate is the Middle Eastern cuisine served here. Authentic foods, such as falafel and hummus accompany lentil soup or fresh salads at an unbeatable price. The Mediterranean Plate offers samplings of hummus, falafel, mujadara, salad and pita bread. Bring your appetite to this early morning/late night destination and enjoy coffee or food while listening to the music of the Middle East. A small market is also open for those do-it-yourself.

I love this coffeeshop,I go there to chill and unwind after a long day at school or work and it's by far my favorite hangout in SLC. The people there are very friendly and the chai lattes are just delicious. It may be a little expensive, but I'll pay whatever it takes to keep this great place up in running in place of a corporate chain that doesn't have that small coffeehouse feel. Just a great place!

Good to study, but internet isn't free, which contradicts the whole coffee house point (i think) I do enjoy their coffee! They've got comfy couches or a fun porch when the weather's good. There's nothin' better!

Fun times
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/6/07
i love the ambieance and the feeling it's completely laid back and tons of fun! The area is nice because it's still downtown and everyone can always use a good cup of coffee! The artwork is so unique you will never see anything like it! it's a great place to come and relax with old friends!

The place to connect
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/06
The coffee is a sideline here. They offer fresh compliments on the average variety. The atmosphere is cut into three catagories; cozy, business and outdoor. You will be able to conduct anything from a initial meeting for a first date to a business transaction here. It offers wi-fi and quiet ends to take care of personal business or studies. The coffee mistros seem a bit on the apprentice level but management seems to have a good handle on the day to day affairs of the servers it has hired. All in all a good choice.

Best Coffee Shop!!
By Jennifer, 5/18/06
This coffee shop is by far, the best I've ever been to. The coffee and food is fantastic, and the ambiance is great. The owners are friendly, the staff helpful and quick. I've enjoyed every experience I've had in this coffee shop and it is in my top three favorite coffee shops in Utah and California.
