The 9th and 9th neighborhood has welcomed this new addition with crowds of hip people on a budget. Dine inside and listen to the rhythms of reggae while eating the biggest burrito. Tacos are also available as well as the popular Burrito Bowl, where beans, cilantro-lime rice, and other toppings are served in a bowl without the tortilla. The namesake burrito Barbacoa is also a hit with its barbeque beef. Stop in and make this your new favorite Mexican restaurant.

We love this place.

We love Barbacoa and go there 2-3 times a week! The food is great, staff is friendly and ordering is easy. Would recommend to anyone who loves Mexican Food. You can have as mild or spicy as you like.

Skinny Portions, Bloated Prices

I used to be a fan of Barbacoa but it seams every time I go now they have raised prices and made servings smaller. They now charge extra for just about everything. If you order takeout, be sure to check your order before you leave as they have a habit of forgetting to give you those items you paid extra for.

The only thing I wish that Barbacoa had is more stores on the west side of the city. I can't get enough of this place!

For a quick, huge, killer burrito, there is no place better on the Wasatch Front than Barbacoa . Healthy food at competitive prices, get in and get filled!
