Squatters Pub Brewery
Although much has changed (now three locations and a microbrewery), we remain firmly dedicated to our original goal; provide our customers world-class handcrafted beer and food in a warm, friendly environment. As Squatters grew we embraced the Triple Bottom Line philosophy of People Planet Profit. We source healthy ingredients and use environmentally friendly products and services from within our local eco-region. We develop long-term relationships with farmers, growers and suppliers so we know exactly what is, and is not, in the products we buy. We choose to support local non-profit organizations. We buy BlueSky wind power and are continuously working to reduce our carbon footprint. We believe these and other practices contribute to a healthy community and environment, locally and globally, making our city a better place to live, work, and drink world-class Squatters beers.
I was drug here by my family in for the holidays and I must say take it for what it is. Just a pub. Go there to drink if you're into those places, but do not go for the food, unless you like greasy day old looking burgers. Sadly Mcdonalds has better food.
The food seems to be the type that just needs to be warmed up to be served. I have been here twice and it has been a similar experience. Sevice is okay, but on the slow side, even on non-busy nites. I could not recommend this place to a visitor from out of town.
A few friends invited me out the other day and we ended the evening at Squatters. First time there and I must say it was rather nice. Good atmosphere, good food, and good beer. It wasn't too crowded, and it has a nice flow to it as well. It had wonderful music in the background and the lighting was good too. I would consider this one of my new hang outs. Anyone who knows me, email or call, we will go out to Squatters. Let me know what you think.
This is my favorite brewpub of all, and certainly my fave in Salt Lake City. I like their full range of beers, the servers are mostly attentive and always friendly, and the menu is varied and offers a couple of comfort-food items I always like. The weekend brunch menu is quite good; easy to while away an entire Sunday there.
The restaurant's seating areas are pleasant, particularly the covered patio in the summer months. The interior space is warm and cozy in winter, with a huge fireplace offering the comfort of home, and the bar seating makes a great place to meet friends and wait for a table or just to stop in for a pint.
Salt Lake's original brewpub has become a local favorite. Innovative cuisine, casual style and patio dining in the summer have
made this one of downtown's hot spots. The enclosed garden patio is a summer lunchtime delight, while the cozy ...
