Caffe Molise is a full service restaurant featuring fresh Italian cuisine inspired by the Molise region of Italy. Enjoy dinner surrounded by local art in our dining room or choose a table on our delightful garden patio. Friday evenings feature live jazz with the John Flander's Trio. Caffe Molise is the perfect pre-theatre, opera, symphony, concert, or sporting event dining location and is conveniently located downtown at 55 West 100 South, directly across from Crossroads Mall. Caffe Molise is a DABC liquor licensee and offers wine, beer, and cocktails.

Fish special sticker shock! I just ate at Caffe Molise with friends and ordered the nightly fish special which was a sea bass over pasta with grilled asparagus. It wasn't too bad, but I was shocked to discover it was $29.95. From what I can tell, that's the second most expensive item they offer. The items ordered by friends looked and smelled wonderful and I've always enjoyed what I've ordered here in the past. So, I'll return and I'll be sure to ask the price of the special prior to ordering.

10 years ago my review would have been much different. I don't know if my tastes have evolved or the food has devolved. My dish seemed so lifeless and devoid of flavor that I wondered if I had landed in London. Nice atmosphere and great location if you are a SLC vacationer or convention goer, but there are too many other dining alternatives in this growing city for me to give it another chance.

Only been there for lunch, but this place has some top notch italian dishes. Mostly authentic. Panini are just average, but I had everything on the menu of their antipasti and piatti. Nothing disappoints there.

Love the gratella! This is a great little spot with music on weekends. My only complain is the limited menu, but what they have is good.

Some dishes are amazingly good, others mediocre. You have to know what to order here.

The quality and taste of most of the dishes are excellent, but the selection is quite limited. We would go more often, but find only a few dishes that we really like, so frequent visits would be monotonous, rather than special. We rarely find a dessert offered that we feel is worth the calorie load. The steak is one of the best that we find anywhere, so if you order the right thing it is great.
