This authentic Japanese Kushayaki grill offers a newly-opened sushi bar. The decor is traditional and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Portions are very generous and all dinners include soup, salad, rice, and vegetable tempura . The noodle dishes are particularly recommended. Sushi is available a la carte or in combination meals. Dine in or take-out a fantastic feast from this great restaurant.

Mizumi is the best Sushi in Sandy and the most fun for a casual night out with friends. This is definitely a locals place, the chefs are fun and prepare great speciality rolls (try the Ecstasy, it's the best). Lila is always personable and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is having a good time.

This place has recently changed hands, Lila is the new owner, Ted was the old. Unlike Ted, Lila does not prepare the sushi. Kevin was one of the best employees that Ted had but mysteriously disappeared shortly after the sale transaction. The food went from "Fantastic" down to "Good-Very Good", a lot of the great experience was interraction with Ted and Kevin. Mizumi's service noticeably declined after the sale and has been getting better. I did find Ted eating in another restaurant and, low & behold, Kevin was behind the counter serving the "Infamous" K2 roll. (a.k.a. the "Bad-ass Kevin roll"). You'll find him at Ginza's in Draper, Mizumi is now second on my list.

Great Food, Great People, This is one of the best in Utah. The restaurant is a bit small, so you can have a pretty long wait if you do do not get their early. They have some of the best speciality rolls I have every had (no matter where you have gone)...My favorate is the Shizen, 2 Nice size friend rice patties, with slices of avacado, and then spicy tuna mix on top of the avacado (Excellent)...Many regulars know the owners by first name and the owners know them as well by first name....This is a LOCALS place....
