India house buffet is very good, although occasionally they do too many chicken dishes at once ( I prefer vegetable dishes). The pakora I had contained about 6 different vegetables and was fresh, light and the best I ever tasted. Their yogurt raita is delicious, as is their cold rice pudding. They have a fresh lettuce salad. Their dining room is a bit dark and small, but the diners seem happy and satisfied.
My new favorite spot in sandy. I think I like it as much as Bombay House or even better, which seems to be the valley favorite. Charming modern atmosphere, good friendly service (which is rare in small authentic restaurants), and the food was awesome. We had the vegi somosa, Lamb coconut Korma, and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Mmmm! And they have Indian wheat naan.
I may not have ever known about the India House if it wasnt for my girlfriends sister Vennice. Now it is our favorite place to eat!
The Service is great and the food is awesome!
I reccomend you and a date order the meat Samosas for appetizers, (keep the sides for the garlic naan)
For the main coarse, split an order of Chicken Tikka (mild) and an order of Chicken Tikka Masala (medium). Also order a Garlic naan, and a Peshawari Naan on wheat.
They will recognise the order, because that is what me and Jacine eat every time we go! (which is at least once a week, and i love her!)
