Wow, I can't wait to get back to UT and go eat at Rita's. I used to eat there before I moved to AZ and it was my favorite place. I always found the service to be excellent and I loved the little luncheon special with pizza, salad and a drink. It is one of the few places that still offer green olives on your pizza. The garlic cheese bread is absolutely wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. I don't know many places where the owner takes an interest in her customers and stops at the tables to chat. It felt like home to eat there. It's too bad some people are SO prejudice and see the need to shout it out. This means you Mrs. Jenkins. Bet you aren't perfect. Rita - see you soon.
We are so glad we discovered Rita's. Great pizza, an actual dine in option and great specials. Everything has been great, salads, pastas and especially the pizzas. We have always been treated great when we are there.
Best pizza in the Layton area. If you are looking for healthy Utah pizza don't come here. If you are looking for real pizza that is cooked right and doesn't need ranch to taste good, this is your place!
My husband and I used to eat at Rita's all the time before we moved to Washington state. That was several years ago, right after it opened. Rita's pizza was the best back then. We moved back and were looking forward to eating there again; boy, are we sorry that we did!! There have been BIG changes in the quality of Rita's pizza!! They are using low quality ingredients now and it is SO greasy!! Their service was not so good, either! There was a girl there wearing a backless shirt, she had tattoos all over her back and she had greasy skin and hair!! I couldn't stop getting sick thinking that SHE touched our food!! She was very rude and didn't tend to our needs much. She also had her son running around the establishment!! Needless to say, my husband and I both got a case of diarrhea for the next day due to all the grease in the pizza. We will NEVER eat there again nor will we recommend it to anyone we know!!!!
