Old Chicago

Description

This local favorite offers one of the best draft beer selections in the area. In fact, there are more than 100 draft and bottled beers at Old Chicago. Pizzas and Italian-style sandwiches highlight the otherwise solid menu. Boise State University , University of Idaho and Chicago sports memorabilia decorate most of the interiors. Many of its patrons are alumni from these universities. Weekend nights are often crowded, and you can expect the game to always be on.

Not bad, but wait until Buffalo Wild Wings opens in January and then you will find a great sports bar!

good brew

Old Chicago is a good place to sit back and down a few with friends and everytime we have been in there the staff has always been friendly. I like that many of the locals who go there have their own beer mug and the place proudly display them all at the bar!

YUMMY! They have great meatball sandwiches and buffalo chicken wings at a very reasonable price.

Gorgeous Food, Great Service! A+
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/29/06
At this restaurant, I had the most amazing time...in fact, I seem to have a breathtaking experience everytime I drop in. For starters, the artichoke dip, though a little pricey, is quite good, and continuing, I would find it hard not to give kudos to the atmosphere, and the quick service. Main course-wise, the chicken parmesan and mexican nachos are to die for (fried pasta, actually), and the Orkney Ale packs a wallop (Especially at $9 a bottle...but we're not in Scotland, so what can one expect?). I only wish I would not have remorse when ordering...I feel as if I've missed something by not ordering something else, but my taste buds tell me that I have not indeed missed the boat. Delicious!

Great food

The pizza and salads are excellent here. They have a great outdoor patio area to eat or a large dining area inside. They have the best selection for beer on tap as well.
