Capri Restaurant, Boise

I do not share the enthusiasm of the other reviewers maybe I only caught them bad days, several. the food was definitely not all that for sure the gravy was acceptable sure but come-on there is not a fragments of meat in sausage gravy the waffle special is over price for what it is. portions are small like kiddy/senior menu small the coffee is just colored water the filter must have coffee in it when brewed to be coffee if not it's just water the waitress were nice enough sure but not welcoming more like pushing you out the door. FYI the motel the restaurant is attached to is just plain scary.

Open at 530 am on a sat. I have always loved the Capri, but never more so than now. Great food at low prices. My favorite the chicken fried steak with eggs. Defiantly the place to after to eat while coming down from the late night drinking session at a house party. Yeah Capri.

Absolutely delicious and ridiculously inexpensive.2 people can eat, drink coffee and take home a doggy bag for $12. Definitely greasy diner food at it's finest. I recommend the chicken fried steak breakfast, or a good ol' bacon cheeseburger which is only around $4 with fries!

I haven,t had good home style breakfast like that in ages. I was like the Old Towne Cafe In Ocean Beach or better yet, my Grandfathers cookin' Best service in Boise!

Friendly folks that serve a very good breakfast at a good price. Nothing fancy (unless you consider orange booths fancy!) and beats the heck out of every other breakfast place I’ve tried in Boise/Eagle. A favorite. P.S. If your normal breakfast simply must include a drink that sounds even remotely like a “Venti” nonfat, ½ regular/ ½ decaf, mocha with whipped cream and extra sprinkles in a double cup, I think you may enjoy your corporate coffee "hangout" more than Capri's.

Very good food. The place is small, yet I never failed to get very good service even when wheelchair riding. Prices are good, taste is the best! This is a breakfast and lunch place good food at reasonable prices.

If you like the classic american "greasy spoon" this is the place for you my friend. Noisy, crowded, with great food and alot of it for prices ya just dont see anymore. Customer base is anywhere from granma to punk rockers. You'll fit right in whoever you may be. Biscuits and gravy are the best in the state a "must have". If, your going for breakfest on a Sat. or Sun. be prepared to wait at least 10 or 15 mins. No time to wait? Don't worry somebody else will surely take your place.
