Would not recommend. Nasty Staff
This is my FIRST negative review! We visited Yellowstone and there were wildfires in the park that totally changed our plans. Two of the major roads were closed and we could not get anythere close to the northern areas. The lady at the front desk was TOTALLY unsympathetic. First of all, she had to be woken up by the restaurant staff, at the request of a customer, at 9am for the guest to check out. She was obviously not happy, because she came in the restaurant and very loudly complained to the restaurant staff, in front of all the customers, about the guest. Then when we tried to discuss our change of plans, she was toatlly uninterested, had a crappy attitude and was only concerned with getting her money. The TV romote did not work. The room looked clean enough, but there were two mouse traps in the room. This did not leave us with a very comfortable feeling while trying to sleep. We brought a couple of small food items in the room, and worried all night about it attracting the mouses. There were not any amenities in the room. For the price we paid, I would expect something! We ended up leaving, still getting charged full price for the room and found another place to stay that was more convenient to the detours we had to make because of the fires. I would not recommend this place to stay. The man at the restaurant was very nice, but the lady at the office was horrible!!
