Brice's Refrigeration, Torrington

I was quoted at $645 for a compressor replacement, when I got the bill it was for $985.59. I had to wait 7 days for the refrigerator to be repaired because the necessary parts for the repair were not ordered. The repairman was very abusive of his time. Wandering back and fourth from van to inside my shop, carrying one part or tool bag at a time, and when assistance was offered, it was refused. He also refused offer to park closer to the building to allow easier and quicker access. When asking the business owners what I was supposed to do without a refrigerator for 7 days in a busy and growing coffee shop, I was told "Well, you should have a back up unit. Not our fault". Additionally, when discussing the situation with the office manager... I was offerd 30 minutes reimbursement!! I would recommend anyone OTHER than Brice's Refrigeration for commercial refrigeration needs... Even if it means acquiring services from hundreds of miles away. A good experience you tell 10 people... a bad experience you tell everyone!
