L'Osteria Mondello Italian Ccn, Cheyenne

A taste for Italian cuisine is L'Osteria's. If your like me and you like subs, not those winky dinky subway or quiznos I'm talking about mouth watering stomach satisfying subs, this is the place. Service is fast and friendly, prices are great and atmosphere feels just like the east coast.

The front portion of the eatery offers great cheese steaks and tasty pizza by the slice. The restaurant in the back has wonderful sit down Italian cuisine that include a great parmeasan dressing for the salads. Enjoy some expresso after dinner.

Absolutely the best food, the best service from CJ the owners son, and seriously fair prices! Great job guys!

Great Place, The Owner is Friendly from Italy and has been making pizza for awile, If your a New Yorker in wyoming you will appreciate this place, it's the only real pizza i have had since i have been here

This rating is only for the pizza...never had anything else. BUT, the pizza is fantastic...authentic NY style pizza, thin crust, fresh toppings. It's a miracle that this place in in Cheynne, where the majority of the population think that the Olive Garden and Red Lobster equate fine dining. Not saying that this is fine dining, either, but it's authentic, delicious pizza. Maybe the owners, workers are a little loud and odd, but that's just their Jersey roots showing. We like the character, as Cheyenne usually has none. As for the people giving bad reviews, chances are they'd rather eat at the olive garden.

This is a great place for a romantic dinner, whether you are on a budget and eat in the front or go all out and eat in the back, it's worth it!

My family goes here alot! it's a great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. and there prices arent outragous! I prefer going to the italian restaraunt part over several italian restaraunts ive been to in northern colorado.

Absolutely terrible service by both staff and, most of all, the owner!!! A dear friend of mine was in town. Decided to bring a bunch of friends together at Mondello's. Big mistake. The owner was not happy to get a 10ppl table without them calling first !?? Then, my friend in honor sent back her food since it did not taste good at all. She was never offered anything else (note that she had only taken a few bites) and was then presented with the bill - full price!!! She then mentioned to the server and the owner that she was not going to pay for something she never ate. The owner then got very defensive and started to scream at her, that she at least have to pay for half. If not, he would call the cops! My friend was basically scared into paying the $9 for something she sent back to the kitchen. Awful!!! I was a restaurant manager for a few years in L.A. and I have never ever heard of such a horrendous treatment. I have now vowed to never ever go back to that restaurant, Mondello's, again, and to make sure that all of my friends will stay away as well. Just a note to the owner: Bad reputation will spread like rapid fire... Good reputation is much is much harder to come by, and I think you should be ashamed of how you treated your customers that day!!!!

Add the cost of a plane ticket to NYC or to Italy and try to find better. Why, Mondello's is right here. Genuine, carefully done, variety, quality... The layout is very pleasant and they also list with Dine-In Delivery service. It was lunch today.

Things must have changed based on the prior reviews. Ordered chicked in sauce, got boiled chicken with spices in the water it was served in. One of the worst experiencies I can remember over the last few years. If you like boiled chicken this might be the place for you though. I do not like McDonalds food that much but I would have been happier at McDonnalds. The food is only slightly better at Mc Donalds but for the price it is waht you expect. The only difference is that at Mc Donalds when you order a coke, it actually tastes like a coke and has carbonation. Here it did not.
