Wow. From looking at some of the other reviews it sounds like other people have had pretty much the same experience my mom and I had when we went over for dinner yesterday evening. Now normally, we don t EVER have a bad experience with IHOP...EVER. Well, that all changed. We sat down, everything was fine, but then we ordered our food...my mom ordered the stuffed french toast combo and I ordered the battered shrimp combo. Well, needless to say, the waitress was kind of acting weird by asking mom if she changed her mind and we still wonder what the hell she was talking about. Then came the food...and I use that term somewhat loosely...my mom ordered her eggs over medium and they were barely over easy...my plate was supposed to come with cocktail sauce and steamed broccoli. They instead brought sweet and sour sauce and corn as a substitute and the corn was $&^#ING NASTY!!! It was like old tasting and gummy like they overcooked it. I asked about this and she said we didn t have it...well, she could have at least TOLD US BEFORE WE ORDERED...needless to say, they tried to hide the corn under the bread...and then she got an attitude with mom when confronted about not telling us...that just pretty much ended our dinner there...we got our stuff to go and we complained about the service there...I m not sure I ll set foot in that place again for a while...although if I ever do again, I m going to ask EVERY time I order if they have EVERYTHING in stock that is included in the dish, because after this last time, I came to realize that you don t always get what you pay for nor do you always necessarily get what you see in the menu. But there s a bright side...they had air conditioning that actually worked, unlike the rejects that served us.
in short...IHOP, everything you USED to love about breakfast...gone in the blink of an eye.
I feel that the management at I-Hop needs to get more training when it comes to the hiring process. This store on Dellrange blvd.in Cheyenne Wyoming has a very poor management team and needs more training. Watch the way they treat you too.
Only 2 servers working at dinner time? Out of food on a weekend? 15 minutes from the time we sat down until our drink order was taken. Then another 20 before we were eating. The tables around us sat un-bussed for the entire meal.
The only nice thing I can possibly say is that at least there was air conditioning.
