The food was great, as was the service. Paying the bill was another story. The initial bill we were presented was for around $70. We gave the guy our credit card. When the credit card slip was returned it showed $110. When we began to cipher in our head we realized that maybe the bottle of wine had been left off. We asked for a new itemization. The bottle of wine we selected based on the wine list we were presented was $38. Now the wine was $45. The server brought us a wine list that showed $45, but it was definetly different than what we had previously seen. There had obviously been a price increase but not all copies had been changed. It was an unfortunate ending to an otherwise delightful evening.
Armor's is probably Casper's best fine dining restaraunt. The service is always great, patrons are treated with courtesy and respect. From the beginning dinner salad to desert, the food is always fresh, very well prepared and dependably good. Slightly upcale (for Casper) their private banquettes (booths) are great for entertaining clients. I've found their house wines to also be above average.
