Las Fuentes, Thermopolis

Every time our many family members come for a visit they expect to have a meal at Las Fuentes! We have never been disappointed! You can easily see the care that went in to give each of us, from the youngest to the oldest the very best dining experiance.

Through the recommendation of a friend, my friend and I ate at Las Fuentes for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff friendly and the food just fine. The margharitas were fabulous! overall a very pleasant afternoon.

TERRIBLE!!!! The service was pathetic and the food was worse.They were not busy, it took several minutes to get seated. I ordered fajitas and he had a combo plate & 2 iced teas, our waitress came and asked us how everything was before our food (if that's what you want to call it) was served. They gave the fajitas to the table behind us and a few minutes later they brought the combo. They figured out what they did, tried to hurry another order of fajitas, they were wrong. He was finished eating by then (not very good, meat had odd taste), I was ready to leave, I wish I would have, finally the third try I have fajitas and they were TERRIBLE!! The steak was tough and it was sweet, like they dumped sugar in it. We had to wait at the register for about 10 minutes to pay the $30.00 bill and our waitress acted like nothing had happened. GO TO TACO JOHN'S!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been too - Told a friend I was going to Thermopolis and he said 'don't miss Las Fuentes'. A great Mexican restaurant in Wyoming ? YES ! Everything was fresh - not canned salsa - FRESH. Portions were large - staff was friendly and well informed. Can't wait to go back to Thermopolis for soaking and Las Fuentes.

Not horrible, not great... This place was not bad for this small town. Serving size was good but the refried beans were not refried they were just pinto beans. Service was really good and we had our food in no time which is always a plus. If you do go ask to sit upstairs as there seems to be more of an open feel to it than the downstairs.

Taco John's makes better Mexican food and thats not saying much. The staff was friendly although a little sarcastic but the food was terrible. We made reservations based on the first review and that was a mistake. We couldn't even finish our food it was bland and unidentifiable. We don't recommend it to anyone!
