Gwyn's High Alpine Restaurant
This world-famous restaurant, which has set the standard for ski mountain dining, is one of the few highbrow restaurants you will ever see where all the clients are garbed in turtle necks and suffer from hat head. The lunch menu features an array of meticulously prepared dishes. Try the Wild Mushroom Lasagna, or opt for one of the sandwiches like the Colorado Smoked Salmon, or the Dakota Buffalo Burger. Breakfast offers fruit filled pancakes, Belgian waffles, and yogurt and granola plates. Reservations are accepted for breakfast and lunch only. Groups of 16 or larger must reserve two days in advance. Walk-ins will not be seated until the entire party is present-it is very strict about this. Gwyn's can be found at the top of the Alpine Springs lift.
