Description

Since 1965 this restaurant is known as one of Aspen's true dining landmarks. It takes such care in serving authentic Austrian fare that you will leave with a strange hankering to watch the Sound of Music . The menu, as expected, serves plenty of traditional Austrian dishes, such as Bratwurst and Sauerbraten. It also, however, offers a nice continental selection too, including Dover sole, sirloin steak, and grilled pork chops. A kid's menu is also available. Please note that the restaurant closes at 10:30p, but the bar remains open until midnight.

This is the best Restaurant in Aspen. Especially if you like European cuisine with all the Swiss / Austrian atmosphere. An Aspen must for sure.

This Restaurant was opened, after a long time serving only Breakfast and Lunch, by Austrian Chef Harald Neuweg a week ago for dinner. I had dinner there two days ago and the food is aboslutly fantastic. I highly recomend the Wiener Schnitzel. My partner had the Chickenbreast with Basil linguini and we both shared the Sacher Torte. Service was great and the place had gone trough a remodeling stage which gave it a clean and fresh look. A must visit

Family style resturant with all the basics

A popular place with locals and long time Aspen residents. Good breakfast, bavarian flare. I enjoyed the eggs benedict. Reasonable prices and good service. Friendly staff. Be prepared to wait during the on-season.

the best ambiance it is like sitting in a garden in side,great location, great food,best bloody mary in town vary good value for money, shame not open for dinner.

Good Dining Experience for Breakfast

This is a breakfast place for the locals, opens from 7am to 2:30 pm. The food is Austrian style. The New Yorker smoked salmon is really good. Excellent decorations inside the restaurant. Service is magnificent.

Wienerstube is a nice place to eat. They have wonderful food ranging from a salad to chicken and dumplings. I grew up going to Winerstube and I'm sure you'd love it too. They have really good smoothies that I get every time I eat there. Don't miss their patio dining it's very nice! Eat at Wienerstube!
