LA Cantina, Aspen

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner here. The manager and staff were great to work with and the food was excellent. Everyone in our party of thirty had a wonderful time.

Disgusting attitude.Avoid going at all cost! Service was worse than the food! Food was not served for more than half an hour. Waitress and manager were rude, mean, and even discriminatory! They had no respect for their customers! Had never had such bad experience ever and would never go back.

Our evenings at the cantina were the most enjoyable of our entire vacation in Aspen. Food was always very good and more importantly the staff was very attentive and the energy of the restaurant always very enjoyable. Top notch and would highly recommend to anybody looking to have a great dinning experience in Aspen.

I have never before encountered such rude waitresses in my life. I have also never been personally attracted for not leaving enough tip. Apparently not leaving adequate tip is grounds for an irate waitress getting in my face and cursing at me and my friends. This is not how you treat customers! She even threatened to call the police (that makes no since right?) What would they do, really? my friends and I finally left in disgust after taking all that harassment. I will never go back there again. and I hope no one ever will again. Not to mention the food is not so good anyway. I hope that waitress is proud of how in-mature she is.

I'm loving it. I've been there several times during my stay in Feb/Mar and enjoyed it a lot. Great food and drinks with friendly service! Try a Mango Margarita ;O)

I've been going to Aspen for about 35 years, and have tried The Cantina on several occassions. I'm giving up. Yes, it's always crowded with tourists, but I suppose any reasonably priced Mexican restraunt in a central location (see San Antonio Riverwalk) is going to do pretty well. The food is average at best, and I've never had good service. There are certainly many better choices for reasonably priced dining in Aspen.

Great food, and killer Margaritas! Plus the service was wonderful. So much fun.

Mediocre tex mex. Friendly but not up to Aspen expectations. Most of the food is what you would expect at a neighborhood Mexican restaurant.
