Garden Terrace (The) -Hotel Jerome
Tucked back in the grass-covered courtyard of the Hotel Jerome , this restaurant manages to make outdoor dining elegant. Umbrella topped tables offer clear views of Aspen Mountain . Executive chef Todd Slossberg, who has been nominated as the Best Chef in the Southwest, offers some unusual takes on some usual dishes like the chili and sugar cured Muscovy Duck Breast, the New York Strip with melted onions, and the butter poached Maine Lobster Stew. Or if you are in the mood for lighter fare, there are grilled pizzas and plenty of salads to choose from.
Great service, location, room was fantastic, bar was friendly and service good, would love to saty longer-a real experience-May rates were really good. Location is walking distance to everything in Aspen. Tip valet parking is $25, parking deck one block away is $12.50.
The location is great and the service is outstanding. After a day of skiing and apres ski, you come back to the most comfortable beds in the world. It is loaded with charm and character. My husband and I have stayed there half a dozen times in the last 4 years and we have never been disappointed.
The Hotel Jerome is the hotel to visit if you're staying in Aspen, Colorado. First of all, it is the most beautiful hotel in the city, as they preserved their hotel beautifully. It is one of the oldest hotels in the city, and there is no wonder why.
The service is exceptional. The staff will always remember you when you go back, down to what type of soda you prefer and your pet's names. Another great aspect: pets are allowed, and the front desk is stacked with doggie treats. Everyone is so wonderful, and ask any staff anything, and you'll get it, down to your favorite boardgame.
The location is amazing, right on main as you come into town, with a beautiful view of the mountain and within walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants.
Speaking of restaurants, the Jerome has a magnificent 5 Star restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy your afternoon or evening on the patio (in the summer) with a beautiful view of the patio. On top of that, they have 2 bars, a great, regular bar, and a cigar lounge. Amazing.
There is really no reason not to be there.
This is one of the most outstanding hotel experiences in the world!
Aspen is a unique locale and the Hotel staff seems particularily interested in making sure your stay is incredible and you depart wanting to get back asap.
Very comfortable, very accomodating, even the ride to and from the airport was enjoyable.
And the food was the best I've ever eaten.
What a great place to relax and enjoy
I have visited this historic hotel on a number of occasions and it has always been a great expierence. The staff are professional while being personable and engaging. The food, especially the braised lamb shank, is excellent. If you go to Aspen I recommend the Jerome.
