This place is so cool. You think you stepped back in time. I don't think the New Sheridan Chop House has changed much since Butch and Sundance kid ate there. The menu is very diverse. I would recommned the beef or seafood, but really you can not go wrong.
I felt like going to the Sheridan would be a little more 'historic' and 'rustic.' Instead, it was very modern with too much 'faux' painting and too crowded to have much ambiance. I wouldn't have known I was in Telluride unless you were outside. If you want to experience the Sheridan - either stay here or have a drink at the bar. Our steaks were good, but nothing special for $30/each.
