Ken & Sue's, Durango

Best in Durango by some distance. Delicious food perfectly prepared. The chef takes a lot of liberties with recipes so even the most ordinary foods take on a new personality. For instance, fluffy mashed potatoes taste nothing like potato, but like some suprising new spice combination that is not the same old garlic mash that everyone else serves. Impeccable service. Reasonable prices for excellent fine dining.

Our favorite restaurant in Durango Colorado for sure! Durango is our second home and so we pretty much know where to go for the best food. The food and service is good and the ambiance was very cozy. We always look forward to our next trip because of this place, unfortunately I gain a few pounds after the visit, lol.

Just had dinner at Ken and Sues. I had the filet and my wife had the curry. It was excellent! Our waitress was Ems and she couldn't have been better! Bravo. Try the wonderful break pudding!

Best deal in Durango. Gormet food, terrific deserts, great staff. Many locals urged us to eat there and we had the best meal of our two week vacation through Colorado. We are very particular, and they were simply the best and at a very reasonable price. Their food is in a class with Sweet Basil in Vail, but at half the cost. Try it and you will go back! Great little restaurant. If you like calamari this is the place to get some of the best I've ever tasted. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Family friendly with a VERY reasonable kids menu but wonderful food and wines for mom and dad...even though we have kids, we still enjoy fine food and wine and Ken and Sue's is the perfect place. We came from out of town and they are first on our list to go back to when we next visit. Friendly and knowledgable staff... kids eat early but it would also be great later for something more intimate

Lunch at this neat little restaurant was the best thing about our trip to Durango--we were spending a day there and Ken & Sue's was recommended to us, and it was a terrific rec!! I had the open-faced meatloaf sandwich on Foccacia bread with red wine gravy....absolutely delish! A must when in Durango....
