if I could give zero to this restaurant I would I sat for 15 min before somebody notice that I was at the restaurant then the server FINALLY show up to ask if I want something to drink then 5 minutes later she remember that I order a beer by the way I saw that my beer was poured right away but obviously she didn t care after I got my beer I order some appetizers and guess what I m still waiting for my #$%$$&$&$ food 30 minutes and still waiting I can t even know how a business with not bad terrible service still have people coming back I won t ever comeback to this terrible place never ever again hopefully someone put attention to this posts and do something about it
my guess is that jamey lynn works for old chicago! Sit at the bar as the table service is always slow...always. calzones are great. employees are nice although waitresses are young and preoccupied or just oblivious. The deck is very nice but don't expect the same slow service out there...it's worse!! Sit at the bar, order happy hour food and get much better service.
i loved this restaurant, the food was great not too bad of a price! The bar was open until late! The service was great everytime! The atmosphere was great! A good restaurant for luch, dinner and drinking in the evenings! It had a small arcade, and was very child friendly! one of the best restaurants in town!
If you want to hang out for Monday Night Football or some other sporting event this is the place to go. There are several televisions through out the main bar area. The pool tables aren't easily accessible for a serious round of pool, so forget about that. The food is good if you like Italian/American food... I suggest the calzon, myself. But the service is slow... generally a staff full of air-head college girls more concerned about the boys they can pick up on or congregating at the entrance-way. So, don't worry about leaving a large tip or the minimum gratuity. It is pricey for the average chain restaraunt but you get large portions. You aren't missing anything if you decide not to go.
Old Chicago is a great place for a laid-back lunch or dinner with friends. Their calzones and pizza are fantastic. They also serve sandwiches, pasta, and salads. The service is touch and go. Sometimes you wonder if you have a server or not. Don't let that stop you from trying a variety of their 110 beers. There is a beer for every taste, even if that taste is good ol' Coors Light. On warm summer nights sit on the patio for a different experience. At night, hang out in the bar for some fun times and good brews. The crowd is fun, and the TVs are tuned to sports for those enthusiasts out there.
