Papa Jose's Union Cafe, Pueblo

Moved away from Pueblo several years ago but every time I come to town to visit my brother a trip to Papa Jose s is a must. I started going there 14 years ago when they first opened and have never been disappointed with a meal yet. Their green chile is the best you can find, food is always hot and arrives quickly. Michael & Elly run a first class cafe!

What a great place to be. I went there with my wheelchair bound grandmother and I have never been treated with so much kindness. The whole staff did what they could to make sure she was comfortable. I have never experienced that kind of genuine attentiveness at a restaurant before. And to top it all off, the food rocked! The portions are great and the prices can't be beat. I am now a regular at Pap Jose's!

My family and I have looked for thrre years for authentic Mexican food in Colorado Springs. We heard about this little cafe in Pueblo and tried it out. What a delightful surprise! The food was excellent, the service was suberb, and the beer was ice cold! We are going back this weekend

My family has been going to Papa Jose's for about the past 4 or 5 years and when I say going I mean we go there often. They have the most amazing mexican food in Pueblo and the service is excellent. It doesn't feel like a restaurant it feels like home. If you want great mexican food and friendly people don't miss out on Papa Jose's.
