went to this place at 3 oclock...the sign said open til 9 as I walked in a kitchen worker was slumped over a table and a young man walked up to me as he looked at the clock and told me it was late for lunch???? thought they were open till 9???? the restaurant was empty, now we know why told him I would pass and left.....never going back.....poor customer service to make someone feel like you dont want their business and of course I will tell 10 people....probably wont really do that but national average is that bad customer service will tell 10 about it. too bad. What is really interesting on my end is that the reason I went there was to support locally owned business..........
I hated Chinese food for 22 years until I first ate at Tsing Tao. The food is amazing. They have authentic fried rice and tons of great menu choices like beef with garlic and eggplant. I recommend going before 3pm in order to get the enormous combo lunches for $5.99.
We just moved close to this place. I actually thought their prices were high compared to other places I have been to in town, but decided to give them a try anyway since I got a 10% off coupon on the back of a supermarket cash register reciept.
Apparently I caught them on an off day, or things have gone downhill after the other reviews were posted. I ordered takeout sweet and sour chicken around 4pm on a Friday. It had to have been left over from lunch as the coating on the chicken was pretty soggy. All the food was lukewarm and bland, including the hot and sour soup.
Maybe it would have been better if I tried a sit-down meal and closer to normal meal times. But I'm not going to bother. I'll be returning to my old favorite, Overseas 101 on Academy next to Target, even though it is a little farther to go. Their sweet and sour chicken comes with the sauce on the side, so is always hot and crispy. Plus their prices are lower for a lot more food, and the owners are more friendly than the people at Tsing Tao seemed to be.
I love this place. The staff is amazing and they deliver for free (15.00 minimum order) Also they are great in the dinning room aswell. Probably the top 3 chinese food restaurants in town. And the prices are supremely affordable $6 for lunch (includes soup and eggroll) and dinner from $10. Honestly one fo the best values in the city for chinese food. there are some higher priced places that are as good or maybe a bit better but for the price and the staff its worth the drive and it will save you some money to go to Tsing Town house. I eat there atleast 3 times a month. either in the dining room or have it delivered to work.
This is the best chinese restaurant I have been to in Colorado. It is also the cleanest. It is tucked into a shopping center off Woodmen Rd east of Academy. The service is impeccable and the food delicious. The prices are extremely reasonable considering the high quality of the food and surroundings.
