Mollica's Italian Market & Deli
Mollica's is a classic, family owned and operated, Italian market and deli, established by Dom, Antoinette (Toni), and Jerry Mollica in 1987. Steeped in family tradition, the recipes have been handed down from generations. Our specialty is homemade Italian sausage made fresh with select ingredients. The sausage recipe, handed down from Tony DeAngelis (Toni's father and Jerry's grandfather) who immigrated from the Pescara region of Italy in the 1800's, will always be made to his specifications.
High priced for the small amount they service . The food was good but not worth the cost . Why would I be a returning when other Italian restaurants service 2 times the amount for the same cost ? Also the service was no so good also . 1 star from me only because it tasted pretty good .
I had the Italian Hero. It was delicious, just like I remember from an Italian deli back in Buffalo, NY. I will definitly go back for more and may try some of the other sandwiches. Thanks for being here.
SORRY FOLKS!! This place is a JOKE!
IF you are Italian, or remotely have an idea of what Italian is...then you realize what a disappointment this place is. We were so excited when we finally heard there was an Italian Import Market somewhere in the Springs...finally..but what a let down when we arrived. This is nothing more than a deli with a few products resembling items of Italia. The espresso was disgusting, like muddy water. Take it from someone who knows Italia after living in Napoli and growing up in the northeast..Don't bother.
Best soups in town, especially if you like spicy. The Au Jus on the Hot Beef Sandwich is loaded with delicious herbs and has a unique flavor that is positively addictive. My Italian friends just rave about the bread there. It’s just the right mix of semi-hard outer crust and soft inside. He also has hard to find Italian items like tuna packed with olive oil, etc. It’s a great place to eat, and a great place to get items like Italian Sausage for home too. The carrot cake is pricey, but absolutely perfect.
