Fargos Pizza Company
Description
Victorian buildings usually do not conjure images of pizza rolling chefs, but this restaurant manages to merge the two into an immensely popular dining environment. The white structure is massive and the inside resembles an old Victorian gambling hall. Seating spills out over two floors. Pizza is the king of the menu. Specialty pies include the Friday Pizza, which is topped with shrimp and mushrooms. Pasta, sandwiches and salads are also available. The carrot cake is not to be ignored. Call for opening hours.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FARGO'S PIZZA!! I lived in Colorado Springs for 12 years and it was one of my favorite restaurants. I love the atmosphere, the salad bar, the drink bar, and - of course - the PIZZA!! The people are friendly and the food is unique!! I now live 4 hours from Colorado Springs and I would gladly pay to have a pizza sent to the Western Slope so I could savor the taste of one of their pizzas, again!!
I have been here numerous times over the years and I have always enjoyed myself here. We come here because the kids love it. I figured I would chime in because the previous reviewer mentioned the pizza being terrible but I have always liked it. To each their own I guess. No matter what you say, kids LOVE this place just as I did when I was little.
Pizza is absolutely awful. You pay separately for drinks and food - annoying! And no refills on soda. They wouldn't give me a togo box - had to haul all my leftovers to the counter so they could box them. I guess they were afraid that I'd steal from the salad bar. Ummm, sorry but the salad wasn't worth stealing. Balloons for the kids cost $1. This place is out to pinch you for every penny. Never ever again.
The atmosphere is so unique and charming. You feel like you have stepped back in time. I even think it appears to be a "ghost" house, with "eyes" always watching! We take family and friends to Fargo's all the time. Out of town friends truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere alone makes me give Fargo's a standing ovation. It is very family oriented and they have amazing homeade desserts! What an a great idea to have such an amazing place to dine! "A MUST GO!"
I ate there the day the doors opened (1973) and fell in love with the decor and the pizza.
still looking for a pizza comparable to "FARGO'S".
I live in Tennessee now and we have some places here but they are no way close.
I could not tell you how many times I have been to Fargos. I can tell you this, not to many restaurants could hold a candle to this place get there you will love it .
I went with friends recently after about 15 years, since my daughter was young. Friendly and loud! Great place to take the kids and eat pizza. Best dish: Carrot Cake
The atmosphere is somewhat fun and raucous, but for a family restaurant the game room could be much better. We enjoyed the pizza and salad bar. Family friendly.
Great pizza and awesome atmosphere. This place will make you smile from the moment you walk through the door. I've enjoyed this pizza for over 30 years and it remains a favorite of mine as a child and adult.
The Building was interesting. My advice, go in and look around but DONT EAT! The pizza is so bad I wouldn't eat it again if you paid me. The cheapest frozen pizzas in the store are far more enjoyable. As for the salad bar, it's just a salad bar like any other. It takes about an hour to get your crappy food and extremely overpriced pitchers of soda, while in the meantime you get to experience all the crowd and cacophony of a train station in India with none of the charm.
