Description

The fact that this popular brewery/restaurant sells its own T-shirts at the front entrance is a strong sign that this place is extremely popular. The menu is an amalgam of American, English and Italian cuisine, featuring everything from burgers to pizzas to fish and chips. The interior is dominated by hardwood flooring and a wall of windows. Outdoor seating, though limited, is very popular during the warm months. Above the dining area is a huge billiard room. The crowds tend to be of the 30-something kind. Open daily from 11am.

We went on a thursday night and they were still very busy. Service was amazing. We got seated quickly, we got our order quickly and the waiter was amazingly attentive. We had the best experience there. The food was very intersting too. I didn't expect such a diverse menu. The night's special was seared sushi grade Tuna. The beer/gouda soup was amazing. It tasted just like bacon. Yum!

Very popular with the young crowd. Good beer, average food. Kind of a typical brewery; big open place with regular tables and high top tables. Usually kind of cold in the place during the winter. Enjoy their beer but find their food just average.

The staff is always nice, the beer is very good, the billiards hall upstairs is good too.

My type of bar
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/10/06
This place has a huge list of microbrews, all which are very tasty (yes, I tasted them all). The service is great and the prices are very reasonable.

Great Food
By Jack, 7/6/06
Excellent service, great menu, attention was given to all of the items served. Our only complaint was that we could not sample all of the species, e.g. orange-chilli shrimp on skewers, etcc.. Selection of beers was excellent.

Best Place for a Local Feel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/3/06
Phantom Canyon is the best place in CS to enjoy finely made beer. The Servers are the best. And you can top the food anywhere else. So go, NOW, really your late already.

Loved It!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/06
I really enjoy this place. Wonderful food, not what I expected from a brewery, very unique and delicious. Great beer. I can't wait to see what it's like during the evening. We have only been during the afternoon on weekends. Can't wait to go back.

Pool, microbrews, tasty food....me likes.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/06
Great food- average entree costs about $15, which I don't think is that pricey for a good meal. The menu offers gourmet combinations for a not so gourmet price. They have dishes that you can try if you want to change up the average, or selections such as pot roast for those who like the classics. They offer free pool in the afternoons upstairs and overall it's a great atmosphere.

Good enough to go out of your way for
By Ron, 9/29/05
My wife and I were introduced to Phantom Canyon when one of her instructors got married there. We decided to make it a stop on the way to Yellowstone National Park. The food (unusual for a brewpub) and beer were both good enough that we also made a stop on our way back so that we could enjoy it again. Prices are reasonable, food is tasty, and the beer is quite good. The upstairs rooms give you a nice view of the Springs and surrounds.
