Olive Garden serves up authentic Italian cuisine. Their signature breadsticks and one-of-a-kind menu make them an American icon. Standard Italian options like bruchetta, calamari, ravioli, and eggplant parmigiana line their lengthy menu. More exotic items like salmon, chicken dishes, and innovative pizzas are also available. For the calorie-counter, Olive Garden has a range of low fat and low carbohydrate options. Their bottomless salads ensure a well-balanced feast. Enjoy your meal with a bottle from their extensive wine list or one of their tropical island drinks. Finally, top it all off with a little something from their dessert menu- their cakes, custards, and ice creams are sure to win you over. Lunch and take out menus are available.
We have been to this particular olive garden many times. We have always gotten good service and there have even been a few times that we have gotten spectacular service. the food is always good and the atmosphere is great.
We have eaten at this location since they opened but never again. My daughter recently celebrated her 23rd birthday here. Her and her fiance were also headed for Maui to get married, the following day. She called ahead for a party of 17 but after waiting for 30 minutes, we were placed at 2 seperate tables. When the manager came over to help (?), he was very sarcastic and wouldn't stop with his rude remarks. I noticed my daughter was becoming more upset so I asked him to walk away. On his way past our waitress, he whispered something and she whispered back (covering her mouth.) We opted NOT to pay the 18% gratuity and when it ran through our bank, they had charged us for that AND an extra $20 that was paid in cash. I spoke to a different manager a couple days later and he reversed the 30 plus dollars, that was over charged. There are other EXCELLENT Italian restaurants in Colorado Springs so ask around. We'll never go back to this one. To top it all off, our food was cold! Guess they can't handle a large party and get the food right too!
Absolutely loved the dining experience, food, service, and especially the refills of cranberry juice. I visited in the evening and found that family would love to eat here. The overall experience was pleasant. G. B. from Dallas, TX
Am I the only one that finds the Olive Garden so...ignoble?
No true lover of Italian food would let his mother's worst enemy dine here, even if they did get free breadsticks and unlimited salad. Honestly, if this qualifies as your definition of fine Tuscan delights, than save yourself a penny and buy a Lean Cuisine.
To be specific, I sampled both their veal parm. and some ungodly hybrid of ravioli, sun-dried tomatoes, and chloroflurocarbons. The veal was so over fried it was like eating a breaded shoe-tongue, the luke-warm ravioli had a sauce on it that had the delicate aroma of melted styrofoam. My polite complaints earned a heartfelt apology, and more free breadsticks. I'll tell them where they can plant their free breadsticks.
The Olive Garden has cheapened themselves over the years. I no longer crave their salad... cheaper olives, croutons, onions, and barely any dressing. I also dislike being offered a 'sample' wine. Pretty soon I'm sure they'll be selling T-shirts at the table like Joe's Crab Shack.
I would live with the above if the entrees were in the $8-12 range, but they're not. For this much $, try Biaggi's in Briargate. Awesome food and atmosphere for the price. Carraba's is also pretty good for about the same $. Come on Olive Garden... either upgrade your act (including those roller chairs from the 80's) or lower your prices.
