Dining al fresco in Colorado is a singular experience, and this hilltop restaurant has one of the most breathtaking views in the city. The atmosphere is very formal (the waitstaff wears tuxedos) and is popular with the Colorado Springs social set. Diners are treated to meals prepared right at their table, a nice touch of personal service. The menu has remained pretty standard over the years, featuring favorites like the restaurant's signature pepper steak, but the chef occasionally offers dishes that push the current culinary boundaries. A full wine list is available.

The quality does not match the overpriced menu. The wine list is extensive; but, again, the price is very inflated. The atmosphere is cool - not warm, friendly and attentive (unless you are a regular). Once was enough!

I have to believe that those who wrote negative comments about this restaurant are totally unaccustomed to fine dining and are accustomed to eating in 2 star restaurants for $9.95. We have dined at the Peppertree for the past 4 anniversaries and have absolutely loved it. The service is outstanding. During dining you have several servers with each one specializing in a specific area. One specializes in fine wine and mixed drinks, while another in the meal and another in the dessert. Some main dishes, salads and desserts are prepared tableside and many are flambe' but all are excellent. It is true that it is expensive but remember "you get what you pay for". As has become tradition over the past 4 years we will be spending our 47th anniversary dining with our family and we will be driving from Florida to do it.

I did not like the Peppertree at all. They sucked for real. When I was 21, they had the audacity to think that I was still in High School. Did not give me a wine list, nor did they give me the proper treatment they gave to the other patrons.

I had read up on this restaurant and was looking forward to my meal - however it was a huge dissapointment. The service is slow. I was served an obviously dirty glass. I would never go back to the Peppertree.

The food here is way overpriced for what you get. I went there for my anniversary and would not recomend it. The food is very ordinary at best, the service is very slow. The Price is ridiculous for the quality of the food served.

My wife and I went to the Peppertree Restaurant in Colorado Springs, Co for dinner on our 3rd Anniversary. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. Depending on the entree, it is cooked table side. The waiter or waitress was alway available to provide excellent quality service. I did not think fine dining existed in Colorado Springs, Co until my wife and I dined at the Peppertree Restaurant. I highly recommend the Peppertree Restaurant for any occasion. Bravo Peppertree Restaurant.
