I ordered the eggplant parmesan and found NO eggplant, just breading, canned mushrooms, cheese and marinara sauce. And the breading was extremely mushy. It came with a side of pasta which was disgusting. The french onion soup was basically solid cheese and was also disgusting. My husband had the ravioli con pollo which he said was good. I do not recommend for anyone to go to this restaurant ever.

Great restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs! Food is delicious and we had a wonderful waitress called Messi. Don't hesitate to go to this place, it's one of the best in town.

Disappointing. My friend ordered a hot chocolate, that came to her mixed with cold water, she also ordered an omelette and the avacado was brown, old, and very unappetizing. The side of bacon that I ordered with my meal never came after asking politley twice. I also had a fruit dish with lots of unedible honeydew pieces with old, bruised, and overripened strawberries slugging the bottom of the dish. I used to really like coming here, but I will not go back again...ever.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Olive Branch cuisine. I work downtown and sometimes during lunch hour I’ll wonder Tejon Street until something strikes my fancy and then I usually get it to go and take it back to work. I decided to try the Olive Branch for the first time and had the Garlic Shrimp Pasta. No, it wasn’t really cheap, but it wasn’t a sandwich either, which is only $3-4 less downtown. I got a nicely sized side salad, a piece of garlic bread, my shrimp pasta, and a piece of lemon bread for just under $13. I have to say I was shocked at how good the pasta dish was. I could not believe how good it tasted! I felt like I’d just picked up a $30 dish from a fancy restaurant on the west side. The side salad was great and I think they must make their own honey mustard salad dressing because it was so good I actually dipped my fork in there a few extra times because I just liked the taste of it so much! I did not dine in, so I can’t really speak of the service there, but I was helped promptly with my to-go order. There seemed to be a few business diners there, but the majority of the customers seemed to be locals who just knew this was a good hole in the wall place to eat. I think this because most of the customers weren’t dressed up like they worked downtown, but the place was pretty busy for a Friday lunch hour so clearly the Olive Branch knows what it’s doing. I will definitely eat here again!

My husband and I took a trip to Colorado Springs over Thanksgiving. I have been meaning to write a review on this cute restaurant. We ate there twice during our stay because the food has excellent and fresh,(especially the egg-white omlette) the staff was super fast and friendly, and the restaurant was cozy and clean. Loved it!

This place is amazing!!!! I went there with my family/friends on a busy Sunday and I got wonderful service and food. My servers name was Merideth I think and she has incredible knowledge of the menu and gave me great suggestions as to what to eat. She made my experience such a delight!!! The food is really good both healthy and hearty. Id recommend going there for breakfast anyday but make sure you request the server I had...trust me you wont be disappointed!!!!

Olive Branch Restaurant

Quaint brick walled downtown building houses a fantastic eating experience. Breakfast is everything you want it to be....eggs cooked as you like, bacon and sausage lean and spiced just right, wonderful bread, fresh squeezed juices...The lunches with great salads, sandwiches, soups and a unique and varied dinner menu. Try it, I believe you won't be disappointed. Jan W

Our favorite place for breakfast! When out of town family or friends come to town this is the first place we take them for the giant cinnamon roll! We have always had the best service and their food is fabulous! Just a great local place! Their lemon bread is yummy - a must try! :) Enjoy this restaurant - it's one of our favorites!!!

Breakfast or Brunch... it's great!!
By Evaloni, 10/17/05
Luke and I LOVE to eat here! It's a great place for breakfast or brunch. Luke likes to get the mexican omlette or the tex-mex skillet. I love their tuna melts! The ambiance is superb, nestled right in the heart of downtown. It's a tiny place with a tiny price, but the taste is huge!!
