I've finally had enough of the extremely slow service, wait staff forgetting & messing up orders and so-so food. I was very hungry and after half an hour, our food had still not arrived. I was then informed that my order was not made correctly (they made a pizza instead of caroli and not only was it not a caroli, but the wrong ingredients were put on the pizza. They then brought an appetizer of bread and salty, yucky dip and I was forced to fill up on that. I should have stayed at home and had a salad. This is probably the 15th time my order has been incorrect, service has been slow and I have left very disappointed and grossed out. I feel sick now and my husband announced that we are finally done with Roma's. What has happened to this once yummy and wonderful restaurant??! A business like this would never make it in a town that actually had great food and restaurants...and shouldn't be making it even in Greeley. You don't deserve my money if I don't get to eat what I ordered.
Roma is well known for the great pizza with generous toppings and beer but other menu items are just as good. Great meat and vegetarian lasagna and other drink specials. Staff is efficient but laid back, music is good. The poster collection displayed on the walls is amazing and worth a trip just to look. Great atmosphere for everyone and not just students go there. Roma has an atmosphere all its own.
The pizza at Roma’s is starts off with a flexible and floppy crust and is drizzled with a spicy but sweet red sauce and layred with almost nothing (Wears the Beef? The topping are even skimpy when you order double toppings) and then topped with a creamy mozzarella cheese. The price isn’t bad as long as you bring a coupon other than that is kind of a rip-off .
This place is great, good pizza and calzones. Especially if you use their coupons and get a calzone for half price. Its about the best deal for the money in Greeley. There are two of them and both have pretty different atmospheres. The one near campus is much more oriented towards college students and the one on the west side of town in more family oriented. I prefer the one near campus because its in an old and cool building. I also like the music they play there better. They have two tvs at the campus one that allows limited sports viewing.
Real good pizza, calzones and a great place to down a couple of brews. They've got some good music selected by the employees and the sound system they have rocks the dining area. Don't go here if you're planning for a quiet night out.
The pizza is great and the people are nice. The only trouble is that the music can get a bit loud, but if you ask the waiter or waitress, he or she will turn the music down, so...it shouldn't really create too much of a problem.
