Canino's Italian Restaurant, Fort Collins

My girlfriend and I visited this Fort Collins spot in hopes of some good Italian food. While the staff was very friendly, the food, well, sucked! Our calamari appetizer was very overcooked, and we both ordered a seafood pasta dish. The seafood was terrible, overcooked fish/mussels/crab/scallops. I figured maybe ordering dessert would make the situation better, so we split a tiramisu. The dessert was a glorified piece of cake. I've eaten at many many Italian restaurants, and we won't be back to Caninos ever again. 65 bucks for terrible food!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Fort Collins/Loveland area! Hands down homemade food, their spinach lasagna is to die for and the sauce is great! Homemade rolls, very authentic traditional style food, and a great old house for atmosphere! I come here 2-3 times a month!

This restaurant has great deals on Mondays and Tuesdays with all you can eat pasta on Monday and Retro Tuesdays. Tuesday they throw back the prices to the old days when you could get a ton of food for 2-3 bucks. You can get a bread and pasta meal really cheap. Good atmosphere because it is in an old house. Fun!

This restaurant is Fantastic! If anyone ever had a problem with the food it is because they came on a bad night which is very rare! The food is delicious, the crew is fantastic and the atmosphere is awesome! It is in an old house from the 1800's and is a pleasure to eat up or downstairs. There is also an upstairs balcony. The owner Clyde Canino is extremely nice and fun to be around. If you have a chance to meet him, do so! Start with an antipasti which has different meats and cheeses. Delicious! Find out what the special of the day is, always something good. If you go during the day there, there is always a daily special. If going at night make sure to make a reservation because the people of Fort Collins know where to go for great Italian food! I highly recommend this restaurant!
