When ever a reatuarant has pizza on their menu, I get it. I love pizza. Here I got the deep dish version. There was way too much cheese on it, and they put butter on the bottom of the crust to give it a brown crispyness. With the overdose of cheese on top and hints of butter flavor on the bottom it had different taste from your standard pizza. The place was packed and everybody was eating pizza and seemed to like it. You might like it too. I didn't.
My family has been eating at Village Pizza for years. It's the best pizza in Estes if not the whole Colorado front range. Try their gourmet pizzas--amazing.
The only problem with Village Pizza is that in the summertime, they are too busy and the wait can be long and all that goes with that.
There's not much atmosphere but if you're just looking for great food, great service and reasonable prices, this is the place.
They don't just to pizza either. They have a complete menu of American and Italian dishes and a great selection of beers.
The pizza is awesome. They are one reason we come to Estes Park. We love their sausage pizza and WOW what a value. The boys love the pizza and the arcade. The only thing is it is family owned and important to make sure that they are not on vacation. But well worth it.
We ordered pizza while vacationing there and the pizza was very good and a large is really a LARGE. And since we were staying at a hotel and it was a take out order, they had complimentary paper plates and plastic forks to give us. Highly recommend it!
