After receiving our delivered food we noticed they messed up the order. When we called to sort it out, they bluntly told us we would be charged extra and that they could not deliver the missing food (because it did not meet the minimum delivery amount). The food has usually been pretty good and we have ordered quite often; but this kind of customer service is unacceptable. Yuck. Yuck.
Yum Yum's is okay, but it's nothing spectacular. The hummus and tibouleh are good, but I also had a chicken schwarma sandwich, and I didn't care for it too much. I've had much, much better schwarmas, that's for sure. But the owners and cooks are Lebanese, so at least the food's authentic. The restaurant is tiny, though, as it's pretty much just a take out place. It's connected to a juice (and alcohol) bar, though, so there's extra seating on that side of the building. It's a nice little place to hang out, especially if you'd like to get a drink with your food. The prices were a little steep, though... and they only give you two pieces of pita with your hummus, so you have to buy additional pita, which I thought was pretty outrageous! But anyway, all in all, I've had much better Middle Eastern food, but Yum Yum's is an okay place.
I love Medterranian (Middle Eastern) quisine, but this stuff is awul. I had a gyro that tasted like a Taco Bell taco. My Girlfriend was puking all day from th falafal she ate (I hada bite of that too - it tasted like dog food.)
My husband and I LOVE Yum Yums!!! We drive all the way up from South Loveland just to get carry-out from Yum Yums. It is definitely more of a carry-out than dining in type of place. Try the gyros plate and the hummus! Yum Yum
