Wild Bill's Hamburgers & Ice, Leadville

Starving skiers sees 'Burgers'. Stops in Wild Bills for overpriced-microwaved-dry- rubbery patty about 1/2cm thick with those fancy 'grill' marks and tasting like ash, add a few pounds of over slated french fries for $9 (no drink, mustard might have been extra). Husband gets a 'Belly Buster' thinking this will fill him up...maybe if he was a 2 year old. Didn't complain as everyone seemed miserable enough. Do not eat here unless you suck...seriously.

My wife and I have eaten there several times and found the mouth watering large hamburger meals and ice cream varieties delicious and refreshing. Prices most reasonable considering that colorado is a vacation destination. Plan to make this a regular stop each time we are in the Leadville area. My family rates this a 4 star stop without hesitation.

Average burgers at high prices. You can get this kind of food anywhere. I've eaten at all of the restaurants in Leadville and this and the Golden Burro are at the bottom. Eat anywhere else.
