When you have to add moisture to get to dry . . .
. . . then you must be eating at the Golden Burro. The food does seem homemade, but somebody needs to teach these people how to cook, and STOP overcooking the meat. Dry, arid and barren.
Unfortunately the staff seemed to think the answer to the dry meat, was the gravy, which was at least ten shades darker in color than Guiness Stout, and you could stand a hammer up on end in it. Seriously, the gravy seemed almost more solid than liquid.
None of the other food was very good, either.
As far as the service, I must say, they did try really hard to get us some edible food, but couldn’t do it after replacing both of our entrees. Dry, Dry, Dry.
The rest of the food wasn’t very good either. Seriously, homemade doesn’t necessarily mean good, I learned.
