Driving through Morrison I've always wondered where the crowds of people are since the road is always lined with park cars. Well my friend, they're at the Morrison inn. All of them. Scruffy mountain men, teens, grandparents, sturgis teddy bears, and then those of us that fall in between.
Inside it feels mountainesce with the woody decor, with ample dining space but I was surprised the bar wasn't larger. It also appeared that there was a room specifically for video games and quarter machines. Girls be care when you the bathroom, Open the door and right in front is the commode. Yup with a bit of bad luck you could be showing your yayas to the whole town.
The boy orders a Marg, I take a sip, then get myself one. A hint of the tequila and not too much mix. If we weren't on our way to the pumpkin patch we would've stayed and drank Margs till we were silly. Food came quickly after it was ordered. Don't fill up on the re-fried beans and rice, it's not worth it. The ground beef enchilada was good but could've had more gooey cheese on top (can you really ever have enough melty cheese?) The chili relleno was spicy and stayed intact while slicing though it. My burrito was decent too. My comparison is grub I could make at home but slightly better.
I've been told that there'll be a subsequent trip in the future for the deep fried ice cream.
