China Buffet, Longmont

Was eating lunch with my pregnant wife thinking about how my food tasted old when a look of disgust came over her face. There was a roach in her food. When she came back from the restroom we went to the waitress and explained what happened. She asked us to pay for one of the meals and did not apologize, or thank us for not making a scene. The worst dining experience of my life.

I'm not fussy about food, but I just can't eat this stuff. We went to China Buffet several times during 2009-2010 (mostly out of convenience), and we kept thinking maybe we were catching them on off days, but the food just got worse and worse each time. The chicken is tough and stringy, the crab is watery and tasteless, and the fried wontons are rancid. The wait staff is slow to refill drinks and clear dishes, and we just generally felt like they regarded our presence as an imposition. We will never go there again.
