Foolish Craig's Cafe
This adorable cafe, bedecked in a menagerie of colors, sits one block east of the Pearl Street Mall . Its lively atmosphere and cluttered tables promote conversation. Most of the menu items come with creative names, such as the Altitude Adjustment crepe and the It was Sam Andreas Fault omelet. Vegetarian dishes are plentiful. A full espresso bar offers a multitude of caffeine fixations, and a range of beers and wines. Live music plays Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
While on a trip to colorado we stop in boulder. Walked around downtown and decided on foolish craig's. The ambiance was cute and energetic. With a wide variety food and dinks. We decided on the spinch and artichoke dip as a starter. It was so good that words cant explain it. It was that good that we went back two ore times on our trip. Our main course were hambergers and salads. The burgers were very flavorful, especially good for a mainly vegetarian resturant. The salad we plentaful and good size serving. It was a good and tasty value as my wife explained to me. All in all it was a good time. The only thing slightly bad thing was the service. Our waitress was just O.K. Not friendly not happy, just earing her tuition. But dont let that stop you. Go to foolish craigs, if you miss it while in boulder it will be a foolish mistake.
We ordered from Foolish Craig's for our firm luncheon yesterday. WOW were we impressed. I have ordered from many other local restraunts around the area - but have never had the service and presentation that we had yesterday. The food was wonderful and when I explained to Mitch that we would be doing a buffet type of set-up, he set up trays of sandwiches, bowls of salad and sides. The presentation was excellent, I just had to take off the rappers and set the food on the table and Heidi and Mitch offered to do even that.
Our guests were so impressed and even asked where we had ordered from, of course I was happy to tell them.
The food was great and the fresh breads really made the sandwiches. And talk about quantity. We had so much left over from our what we thought modest order, that the staff is having sandwhiches and salad for lunch today.
To top it all off, the tray of warm fresh baked chocolet chip cookies.
I swear I have never made our attorneys so happy. We will be using Foolish Craig' for all our luncheons in the future!
Thank You to their staff your #1 in our book!
For a funky little joint with the atmosphere of a college pub, Foolish Craig's has one of the best breakfast menus I've ever experienced. The selections are creative, the ingredients wonderfully fresh and well prepared, and the servings perfectly huge! What a great way to start your day, especially if you can get one of the three tiny outdoor tables.
Undoubtedly the finest restaurant in Boulder... possibly in the world!! One would be foolish not to eat here at delicious foolish craig's cafe because the food is so good and the atmosphere is so good and the service is very good also. I had a server named Brendan and he was perhaps the finest man i have ever met. Three Cheers for Foolish Craigs Cafe!
