Falafel King Restaurant, Boulder

This is a great place for quick, cheap Mediterranean food on the Pearl St Mall. Order at the counter, pay and sit down. There’s plenty of seating inside, and a few cafe tables outside. The college-age staff is friendly. The food is delicious; I'm partial to the beef shawarma pita with hot sauce and onions. The hot sauce is not blazing, it just adds a bit of flavor and spice to counter the cool yogurt. Good combo.

My family and I have been visiting this store since I was 5. My aunt and uncle live near Boulder and it has been a trip staple forever. We can not visit the family without dropping by Pearl Street Mall and Falafel King.
