I'm born and raised in North Denver and I've tried all the of the local pizza joints but nothing compares to Pizza Alley. They've got the best prices and the food is unbelievable. Me and my family go there all the time and have never had a bad experience the service always has been awesome.
Not a romantic ambiance if you choose to eat in, but if you like thin-crust pizza from an old-school by-the-slice or delivery joint, there is nothing better in the metro area. I've lived in highlands for many years, and this place is more of a neighborhood anchor than the (now) chain deli, the wannabe Cherry Creek kids' store, or any of the tooty-fruity tilts that pop up and disappear like spring dandelions.
Have to disagree with the other reviewer. We've lived in the Berkley neighborhood for over 10 years and Pizza Alley hands down has the best delivery pizza in the area. I don't think of it as a sit down pizza joint but rather the place you call on game day or late Friday night. The food is good, great service over the phone and a good value. The za is not as good as the Edgewater Inn but, hey, whoose pizza is that good in all of Denver. If you're new to the neighborhood and looking for some good take-out or delivery, give Pizza Alley a shot.
People remember.........and tell other people. Several years ago, we went to buy a couple of slices. We stood and waited, and waited. We were never acknowledged by the staff ( A couple of high-school loser, drop-outs). They just continued talking like we were not there. It was rude; We left. I tell everyone I can not to give this place any business. They don't seem to have any business anyway despite a prime location.
