JJ Chinese Restaurant, Denver

Authentic Chinese food can be intimidating for those not used to it, and the restaurants even more so. JJ's Chinese Seafood Restaurant may be almost too authentic for many non-Asia patrons; the staff speaks only basic English, the menu is mostly in Chinese with pictures instead of English translations, and the tanks of fresh seafood waiting to be ordered may be off-putting. However, if you can get past these aspect, JJ's offers an amazing menu, complete with dim sum during lunch hour, at fair prices. The serving sizes are amazing, the seafood fresher than most restaurants in Colorado, and the atmosphere enjoyable and friendly once you get past the culture shock.
