Tommy's Thai

Description

This bustling Thai joint is a neighborhood favorite. Because it is always busy the place can feel like eating in a closet with 50 strangers. The tables are cramped together and the place is loud with conversation. But if you are looking for a lively ambiance, then this is a good place to dine. The spicy food crowd will enjoy the Phad Prig Khing, a tasty mix of chicken and green beans doused in red chili sauce. Traditionalists will find a wealth of noodle dishes including the ever-popular Pad Thai.

Very disappointing. Wontons lacked flavor-- like eating air. The curry dish was terrible. I can make a better Thai dish at home! Don't waste your money!

Let's just say Tommy Thai's is to Thai food what Panda Express is to Chinese Food.

Great food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/28/08
Food was great and reasonable. Lunch is a particularly good value at under $7 for the chicken basil and rice. Service was very good. Restaurant is small and parking is limited.

If you have experienced good Thai food, DON'T waste your hard earned money here. This is mediocre food. I have tried this place four times. This place is packed but, I can understand why. There aren't that many Thai restaurants in town. This is the best of the worst! If you are from the big city you know what I mean. If you are from anywhere else USA you won't know any better. So sorry, closest good to awesome Thai food is about 1000 miles west in Los Angeles. I know, what a bummer!

I cannot say that it was the best Thai that I have ever had, but the atmosphere was fun and I really loved their water glasses.

Best thai food in the nation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/07
I've lived in five states and finding decent Thai food has always been a problem. While in Denver for a convention I was told to try Tommy's. I was skeptical but desperate for good thai. Wow. This place is great. They even made the phad thai noodles as hot as I could stand. Bravo.

Great taste, great place!
By Annie, 10/12/07
I saw an ad to Tommy Thai in Asian Avenue magazine. I decided to try it out and was thrilled with my experience. The food was delicious and unique. I liked the selection and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Tommy Thai!

Say Chicken Satay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/07
Simply the best Chicken Satay I ever had - and order a Thai Iced Tea. So good, such a family business I love supporting it.
