The Lime Restaurant, Denver

Great night spot, although I've never eaten there. It's usually a little loud, but I think that isn't really a problem. I usually go here after dinner for some drinks, or if I want a break from other places like Martini Ranch. I like it a lot.

Great, fun place w/absolutely TERRIBLE DJ that is rude and never plays a damn thing you ask - that's if he pays attention to you being there. Plays decent music but then gets into Michael Jackson crap and Journey crap and the floor clears... yet he does it Fri night after Sat night. Guy should be fired.

The food was worse than the service. They want it to be a bar and a restaurant but it is too noisy to sit down and enjoy a meal and the bar is too small to accommodate more than a handful of people. Plus, there are much better bars in the area. And did I mention the service and the food were both terrible. They are trying to do what Rick Bayless does and do not even come close.

Oh my! Can a downtown Denver restaurant really be this bad? The first clue should have been the smell. A few of us went to the restrooms before dinner, and there was a smell emanating from them about 20 feet away. What a way to get in the mood for dinner! The food was horrible, Casa Bonita like, with Larimer Square prices. The black bean soup was like Gerbers Baby Food, the ceviche was not ceviche. I have had both of these dishes in many restaurants, small, and large, and these were not even close. The rest of our party of 20 made similar statements about their food. Like other reviews mention, the service was very spotty. Our waiter forgot to put my wife's margarita on the bill, and chased us down as we were leaving with a separate bill. $12.00 for a margarita, and it sucked! Come on Lime! How about a little quality to go with your great location, and unreasonable prices

Great Night Spot! Went there for dinner and drinks. Jeff a friend of my friend (Holly) was spinning music, up beat scene, with good tunes. Crowd was a mix of twenty something's to forty something's. Nice mix of people. Food was all made in house and of the highest quality, the kitchen stayed open till 11! Our tequila shots are served in a half of a lime (the actual fruit) with salt on the edge, very cool! Never seen that before. Also had a nice selection of high-end tequilas. Open-air patio out back was a nice escape from the restaurant. Service was fast and professional. I had one of there �massive margaritas�, and it was all I needed.

Possibly Denver's Finest Mango Margarita. Great place to enjoy a late afternoon beverage on their small but cozy patio. Ambiance is great for one on one conversations but don't get too comfortable. If you're not eating dinner on their patio, they will ask you to move inside. Food is decent but don't expect anything special. There's an option to enjoy 1/2 dinners Mon-Thurs on their website but this feature has never worked for my on several occasions. Great place to start your evening.
