You'll find the comfortable, warm-wooded restaurant filled with a crowd as diverse as the menu there for a special occasion or a casual gathering. The nostalgic feel, including the sounds of Big Band 30's and 40's coupled with a current menu with generous portions gives the Denver ChopHouse its approachable, yet upscale contemporary style. Handcrafted ales brewed on-site, small batch bourbons, and a fine array of single malt scotches all add to the ChopHouse tradition.
Great place to take visitors. Good steak, great location, good atmosphere, great non steak entrees (the chicken picatta was out of control!), pricey, but nice overall experience. Service was very good!
First time I went, I was talked into the Sesame Calamari, hesitant about it..but ended up loving it! A must try. Had the Crab Cakes..must have been in a seafood state of mind. :-) Very yummy.
Also went to the Cleveland CH, while there, before visiting the R & R Hall of Fame.
Pretty consistant. (small chain)
Had an awesome night at the Chop House, and am looking forward to going there again. Atmosphere was cozy and authentic; service was outstanding, and the pressure of a fancy restaurant was absent. If you're trying to do low-carb, though, watch out. The mashed potato pile on my plate was the size of Mt. Evans, and I had to pay extra to get sides of veggies. Kind of expensive, but worth it for a special treat.
Real feel of a 1930's American Steakhouse. Food is just ok, as is the rushed service. I haven't liked the manner of hostesses at this place. Should you choose to dine here, don't let them seat you on aisle to bathrooms! My suggestion is to walk in to see this interesting place and then go to Sullivan's or Wynkoop's or Alfornao for dinner.
There is nothing worse than a painful pair of shoes in a city where walking is the primary mode of
transportation. This store on the Pearl Street Mall knows the importance of comfortable shoes. Choose from such Boulder favorites ...
